Hulu’s Best in Dough is worth it! The show understands that it’s nothing serious, and therefore it really makes for an enjoyable watch. I couldn’t’ stop laughing.
Pizza is life. Anyone that knows me knows that about me. So, I was obviously interested in the show, especially after seeing the hilarious and tasty trailer (embedded below).
Hosted by Wells Adams, whom I’ve never seen before, the show marries light reality tv cooking competitions with lots of heart. Plus, it also helps to have Daniele U’Diti, an Italian chef that knows a lot about pizza, as your head judge.
Some people might compare it to Chef’s Table on Netflix. I say it’s wrong to do that. One show is a documentary, the other is a lighter (and lower budget) cooking competition. From the Italian nona’s to the fine dining chefs, I couldn’t stop laughing and salivating all the way thru. The show certainly won’t win any awards, but it won my heart (and taste buds).
Finally, I’m certainly going to attempt some of the pizzas on the show. They look delicious. Plus, I just hope that Hulu renews the show, and it doesn’t get cancelled.
