Kevin Can F**k Himself – Season Two [2022]

What the heck did I just watch? Kevin Can F**k Himself gave me high expectations in its first season, and just completely ruined it in its second and final one.

As much as I loved the first season of Kevin Can F**k Himself, I hated this one. It’s like AMC+ decided to rush the second season, while ending show, while cutting the budget in half, all at the same time.

Frankly, I’m sad for Annie Murphy. She’s great! And I love her, but she deserves better than this mess of a show.

The series started as a commentary on 1990s sitcoms with a beautiful wife and an idiot husband, and slowly turns out to the amazing potential of treating marital abuse and failed marriages. Sadly, in its second and final season, the series messes it up… heavily. Allison (Murphy) changes her plans multiple times; her character loses steam (and story arc and character development), and everything comes to a disappointing culmination that makes anyone want to slam their tv sets.

If you really loved the first season, you might want to try watching this one. If your rating was anything less than perfection, don’t bother.
