Marvel Studio’s She-Hulk: Attorney at Law looked like a hot mess in the beginning but redeems itself at the end.
In the beginning, I was like this is cute, but weak. Halfway through the show, I wasn’t sure what was going on. Marvel Studios advertised the show as a half hour legal comedy, but all what we saw was random episodes with a lot of cameos. However, thanks to the last 2 episodes, She-Hulk redeems itself in a big way.
True to the comics, Tatiana Maslany‘s She-Hulk single handedly brought Marvel Studios to a more adult audience. From the fourth wall breaking to the first post credit scene #NoSpoilers, the show didn’t shy away from sexuality, social comments, and weird twists. Jennifer Walter F****, Bruce Banner confirms a fan theory, Daredevil (Charlie Cox) is officially introduced to the MCU, and a lot more. Believe me, a LOT.
To be honest, I get some fan comments online. Even the show itself tried to address it with the online trolls, Intelligencia, and the fourth wall breaking. Simply put it, avid fans got used to a certain product out of Marvel Studios. And the expectations keep on getting higher, mainly fueled by Marvel itself.
However, this show doesn’t fit in that box. If anything, it smashes (see what I did there?) straight from the first episode all the way till the last one.
Should you watch it?
As much as I’d love to see Jennifer Walters/She-Hulk in a movie, I really want to see a second season of She-Hulk arguing in court with Megan Thee Stallion. #NoSpoilers, watch the show.
Where can I watch it?
