Reacher season two proves that you can do better second time around. Way more entertaining and certainly deeper. Keep it going.
Alan Ritchson is not only the perfect Reacher with an appropriately intimidating presence, but the actor has the right way with the required mordant humour, and action, the character delivers. He is a full-on force of nature in this dynamic sophomore season, that sees Reacher go up against an unknown terrorist broker and crooked government contractor.
In fact, I’m happy to report that this second season improves the script flaws of the first one and also becomes more ambitious. Bigger, bolder, funner.
The result is an action series that is also a tribute to fans of action shows that like to blow up things for the sake of it. But they also have a heart and do things for the right reasons. It’s a lot of fun, but you also know that a lot of heads are gonna get knocked dead.
Should You Watch It?
This is the kind of action shows that you watch when you want to unwind. The good guys are good, the bad guys are bad. It’s an edgier, cooler version of Walker, Texas Ranger. And I love it.
Where Can I Watch It?
You can stream Reacher exclusively on Amazon Prime Video.
