The Traitors UK delivers a stellar second season with what can only be describe as hauntingly good tv. Keep them coming BBC.
This franchise was a late discovery for me. As late as last November. And to my surprise, I can get enough, at least when it’s good (wink wink, US season 2).
Yes, the cast and production definitely matter. But so does the host. And Claudia Winkleman is a british national treasure. Caludia is more than the master of the castle, she clearly cares about the players, and the game.
In addition to switching it up with new challenges, this season goes even further. Straight from the get-go, the traitors will have to make hard decisions even when they know nothing about the other players. Choose a new traitor, make a kill, and repeat. And whenever they’re down on numbers, recruit!
All in all, this season, at least for me, is a fresh breeze in another boring landscape of reality tv. The twists, the turns, the mental effort needed, and the perfect winner. **** played the game masterfully and certainly deserved the win. #NoSpoilers
Should You Watch It?
If you can’t understand that it’s a tough game and people will be hurt, skip it. Otherwise, this season is the definition of a psychological murder mystery mixed with a ton of drama and meme generating moments. Loved it!
Where Can I Watch It?
You can stream both seasons of The Traitors UK on Crave in Canada.
