Jennifer Hudson demands our “RESPECT” in our first look at Aretha Franklin’s Biopic

With over one million views in under 24 hours, Jennifer Hudson is embodying the Queen of Soul in the first trailer at the delayed biopic.

“Respect”, which is perfectly titled is proving to be one of the best biopic movies ever made, and one of the first telling the story of Aretha Franklin. A story we already saw another version of in Genius: Aretha earlier this year.

The Aretha Franklin biopic stars Jennifer Hudson as the famed singer and features other stars like Forest Whitaker, Mary J. Blige, and more.
