The Lincoln Lawyer is still good. But season four is starting to cross the threshold from realistic, to fantasy.
Even if it’s the least realistic, It’s the most entertaining and addictive season to date. Picking up after the cliffhanger ending from the third season, Mickey Haller is on trial for a murder he didn’t commit.
I have to hand it to the producers. While the first three seasons were about a non-traditional lawyer, it’s pretty brave from them to use the popularity it has acquired to make a fourth season, which is basically a scathing critique of the law and how brilliantly it can be misused to put innocent people in jail.
Yes, Haller’s case is the center of the season, but both Becki Newton & Neve Campbell deliver great performances this season.
On one side, the producers heard my plea and gave Campbell a huge role this season (No spoilers!), and Newton is finally more than an assistant. In this season, Lorna is a fully fledged lawyer taking her own cases, while trying to save Mickey.
Give me another season with my girls, and Haller, Netflix!
Should you watch it?
The Lincoln Lawyer has always been the perfect show to watch. An easy-to-follow story mixed with fantastic acting and balls-to-the-wall courtroom scenes. And season 4 is no exception.
Where can I watch it?
You can stream The Lincoln Lawyer on Netflix everywhere.
