The Lincoln Lawyer – Season Three [2024] on Netflix

The Lincoln Lawyer – Season Three [2024] on Netflix

The Lincoln Lawyer season three has a dense, compelling story, full of Connelly’s’ characteristic revelations and cliffhangers and told with some nice light comic touches.

This season knows the show it wants to be and mostly delivers, never growing too contemplative or exploring the contradictions of the characters, especially women, that pass-through Haller’s world either privately or professionally.

If you were a fan of the first two seasons, you will love this one. The writers have found the best parts of Michael Connelly’s books and brought them to the small screen to develop a courtroom drama worthy of binging.

It’s always personal with The Lincoln Lawyer, and in Season 3, Mickey Haller seems to have become embroiled in yet another case that blurs the line between the phrases “professional conduct” and “conflict of interest.” To be honest, Mickey trying to figure out, in real-time, just what the hell the quiet conversations with slippery adversaries even mean is where this show excels. And this season delivers.

From the cliffhanger ending of season two, all the way to the new mystery at the end of this one, I can see this show running for another four seasons, easily.

Unless Netflix derails one of their most successful shows as usual, The Lincoln Lawyer is probably of their most underrated shows currently in production.

Small request for next season: A bigger role for Neve Campbell. Thank you!

Should you watch it?

Season Three is actually the best so far. Not as twisty as the second, but that’s what makes it better. Mystery over tricks.
