Marvel’s Hit-Monkey is definitely stronger. Yes, it might have taken three years to get the second season, but better late then never?
After a surprisingly good first season, Kevin Mellon took the reigns from the show’s creators, and you can notice the difference. Season 2 is darker, grittier, and more emotional with interesting new characters, including the devil himself. No, we’re not calling him mephisto.
Contrary to its predecessor, this season takes a little time to get going. However, halfway into the season, you can already see the gears and tunes going full force into a banging finale.
Finally, it’s sad to see Marvel cancelling a show like this one, in favor of whatever is going on in the MCU these days. I’m going to miss Monkey (Fred Tatasciore) & Bryce (Jason Sudeikis) and everyone else this season especially Eunice (Leslie Jones).
Should you watch it?
Season two is way better than its predecessor and definitely a great watch for adult animation fans. Nothing to do with the MCU. Which makes it even easier to watch. The only issue is that there isn’t more.
Where can I watch it?
You can stream both seasons of Marvel’s Hit-Monkey exclusively on Hulu in USA and on Disney+ everywhere else.
