Shrinking – Season Three [2025] on Apple TV

Season three of Apple TV’s Shrinking delivers. If everyone walked away after this season, they could do so heads held high.

In this season, Jason Segel and Harrison Ford are back to essentially wrap up their story. And oh boy! The showrunners, and actors, deliver on the promise with an emotional and stellar story arc, with a wrap up that will hurt anyone over 30, in a good way.

Thing is, though there is a bit of repetition in a couple story beats, the majority of the season offers more gently funny and genuinely emotional plotlines powered by its wonderful cast. The season is life-affirming, championing the wealth of good friendships and the generosity they inspire. Things may grow dark, but laughter is always waiting in the wings.

Yes, I keep repeating myself. But season 3 of Shrinking is effectively the series operating at peak story efficiency, being able to give its stellar cast meaty stories while maintaining its funny hang-out vibe. That’s a hard thing to do with its premise, over 20 hours of story time later, and its season two inefficiencies. I already feel like Paul. Guess why? He gives me Sophia Petrillo vibes.

Yup. Shrinking is back to being an amazing show in its third outing. Especially the monologue in the final scene by Paul (Harrison Ford). Perfection. No comments.
