Friendsgiving [2020]
Not the best, and definitely not the worse. Friendsgiving is scatty, untaxing but not nearly funny enough. A holiday comedy that is a laden table of side dishes, missing the meat.

Jupiter’s Legacy feels like an obvious preface to what could have been a great new franchise for Netflix. Sadly, all the action scenes didn’t make for great tv in season one.
Based on a book with the same name, Nomadland already won three out of its five nominations at the Academy Awards. It’s not really waiting for me to review it but here we are.
Tom Clancy’s Without Remorse has one redeeming feature and it’s Michael B. Jordan. He’s the only reason I wanted to watch this movie.
Genius: Aretha is the third season of another National Geographic scripted series. Exploring the life of the Queen Of Soul: Aertha Franklin.
Helstrom is one of the few horror shows that I got excited to watch once it officially started streaming outside USA via Star on Disney Plus.
For All Mankind is one of the best space related series that I’ve ever seen (so far). And I don’t say that lightly.
The Hot Zone is a great limited series, so far, that is based on true events.
Marvel Studios is back with The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. A Disney Plus series that felt more of a long movie than an actual series.
Made For Love is made for…. being bored. If it wasn’t for Cristin Milioti and a bit of Ray Romano, it would have been the worst show of 2021 so far.
Thunder Force should be super thankful that Octavia Spencer accepted this role. Spencer is the only reason I was able to finish watching this movie without dreading this 1h and 46min wrong decision.
Being a spin-off from Love, Simon, Love, Victor takes what made the movie great and successfully sprinkles some Disney coming of age teenage drama onto it. Can’t wait for season two.
Two days after the series finale of Kim’s Convenience and I already miss it. Wrapping the comedy with the social issues, it is another gem produced by CBC Canada that came to its end almost perfectly.
