The Tomorrow War [2021]
Chris Pratt ably anchors this sci-fi adventure, even if The Tomorrow War may not linger in the memory much longer than today.
Boss Level [2021]
Boss Level is an action packed movie that makes fun of itself without actually looking like it. And Frank Grillo makes it worth it.
Marvel Studio’s Black Widow [2021]
Marvel Studio’s Black Widow brought back Scarlet Johansson to the MCU, but she’s not the highlight of the movie. The movie avoids a disaster thanks to Florence Pugh’s Yelena Belova.
F9: The Fast Saga [2021]
F9: The Fast Saga is more over the top than ever. Who needs a believable story when you have wall-to-wall action that defies the laws of physics?
Wrath of Man [2021]
Wrath of Man brings Jason Statham back to his roots. An action thriller that takes the viewer on a fun, action-packed ride.
The Good Liar [2019]
The Good Liar is meant to be great. And it is! You can never go wrong when you face off Helen Mirren with Ian McKellen.
Tom Clancy’s Without Remorse [2021]
Tom Clancy’s Without Remorse has one redeeming feature and it’s Michael B. Jordan. He’s the only reason I wanted to watch this movie.
Chick Fight [2020]
Chick Fight will not win any awards this year. Also, it doesn’t have to. It’s actually a great entertainment and background noise when you’re doing chores during covid lockdowns.
I Care A Lot [2021]
Rosamund Pike (Marla Grayson) and Peter Dinklage (Roman Lunyov) do excellent work in I Care A Lot, but they’re acting in a story that doesn’t give the audience anyone to root for.
