All of Us Strangers [2023] – Andrew Scott, Paul Mescal, Claire Foy on Disney Plus
All of Us Strangers hit me right when I didn’t expect it. And that’s a rare thing considering that most productions are boring these days. Starring Andrew…

Argylle [2024] – Henry Cavill, Bryce Dallas Howard on AppleTV Plus
Argylle is entertaining. Sadly, that’s where the fun ends. An over-the-top action comedy with an extremely overlong runtime. Don’t get me wrong. I’ll watch Henry Cavill in…
Disney’s Wish [2023] – Ariana DeBose, Chris Pine
Disney’s Wish is another dreamy film from Disney Animation. It’s good, but it could have been much petter if the songs didn’t get in the way. In…

Dicks: The Musical [2023] – Josh Sharp, Aaron Jackson, Megan Mullally on Paramount Plus

Poor Things [2023] – Emma Stone, Willem Dafoe, Mark Ruffalo
Poor Things should have won the Oscars for best movie. Point Blank. Yes, it’s wildly imaginative and exhilaratingly over the top, but that’s the point. Starring Emma…

Kung Fu Panda 4 [2024] – Jack Black, Awkwafina, Viola Davis
Kung Fu Panda 4 is fun for the whole family — not as much fun as the first three, but still a good time. Starring Jack Black,…

Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom [2023] – Jason Momoa, Patrick Wilson, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II
Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom does a great job at being irrelevant due to its confusing status as the unofficial end to the DCEU. Momoa deserved better,…

Madame Web [2024] – Dakota Johnson, Sydney Sweeney, Isabela Merced
Madame Web puts the 1970s cheap horror flicks to shame. The movie has a lot more problems than just its controversial connection to Marvel Comics. I really…

Expend4bles [2023] – Jason Statham, 50 Cent, Megan Fox
Expend4bles is a low budget mixed bag. Though the stunts are decent if not good, the backdrops are definitely questionable. Don’t get me wrong. I’m all for…
